My name is Stephan, ‘Steven’ spelt the fancy way, and I am a product designer that has a passion for finding simple solutions to complex problems using a human-centered and data-driven approach.

I graduated from UC San Diego in 2018 with a BS in Human Computer Interaction (HCI). I currently work as an Interaction Designer on the Google Assistant team, designing multimodal touch and voice experiences across many surfaces. Before Google, I designed mobile and web experiences for Steady that empower people to earn more. Prior to that, I worked as the lead product designer at Kast, designing a digital watch party experience across desktop/web, Android, iOS, and TV platforms.

When I’m not working, you can typically find me outdoors enjoying the beautiful San Diego weather. I love to rock climb, hike with my two pups, surf, and play PC games. I also enjoy using code to build solutions to solve my everyday problems.
